shoes are halsar

halsar = shoes (Lhaesine pronunciation = HAHL-sar) (some things Google found for "halsar": an uncommon term; means "throats" or "necks" in Swedish, and "necks of land" are also called "halsar"; last name of an Russian immigrant in Nebraska in 1891; There are 15,000 Halsar people in India, their religion is Hinduism and their language is Kannada; Halsar is scheduled caste in India, but I'm confused as to what that means; Halsar is a place in Iceland in Skorradalur; Royal Hospital Halsar and Halsar Marina in Gosport, Hampshire, UK, (Gosport is near Portsmouth))

This word has been revised. The Lhaesine word for "shoe" is now "halas", which would make "shoes" be "halasur". This posting is no longer current.
