iron is hune (revisited)

hune = iron (Lhaesine pronunciation = HOON) (metal) (some things Google found for "hune": a common term; a last name; HUNE is an acronym for Hispanos Unidos para Niños Excepcionales which is a Philadelphia based organization providing training for Special Education and Support; La Hune is a book shop in Paris; Clos Sainte Hune Wine of Alsace in France; an unusual feminine first name; means "masthead, topmast" in French; means "June" in Maori; name of a city in Denmark; Cape La Hune in Newfoundland, Canada)

My previous Lhaesine word for "iron" was "hurn". That word was too close to "iron". I like that "hune" is pronounced similar to the English word "hewn", which means "cut or shaped with hard blows of an ax or chisel".'

This word has been revised to retain the old pronunciation. The Lhaesine word for "iron" is now "hiud". This posting is no longer current.
