flame is hoira

hoira = flame (Lhaesine pronunciation = HOY-ruh) (noun) (some things Google found for "hoira": an uncommon term; a feminine first name that can be Filipino; user names; a last name; name of a WoW gaming character; Jabal Hoira Hedi is a mountain in Yemen)

This is a new Lhaesine word. I'm reutilizing a former word from my other conlang, Miresua, which previously meant "sand".

deep is sorne (revisited)

sorne = deep (Lhaesine pronunciation = SOHRN) (adjective) (some things Google found for "sorne": an uncommon term; SORNE is an alternative music project/artist from Austin; Sorne Hill Wind Farm in Ireland; an uncommon last name; user names; Domaine and Golf du Val de Sorne in eastern France; Sorne Co. Ltd of South Korea; a Basque feminine first name; a tributary of the Birs (French: Birse) river in Switzerland; Messia-sur-Sorne is a town in eastern France)

My previous Lhaesine word for "deep" was "soara". This modification is because I'd rather not have a word for deep that looks like the word soar, which means rise or fly upwards.

fog is hes (revisited)

hes = fog (Lhaesine pronunciation = HESS) (noun) (some things Google found for "hes": a very common term; a misspelling of "he's"; a last name; NYSE stock symbol for Hess Corporation which is in the Oil & Gas industry; HES stands for Hanchett Entry Systems Inc. which sells integrated access control products; The Heinkel HeS 011 was an advanced World War II jet engine; an alternate spelling for Isis, a goddess in Egyptian mythology; in Dutch "hes" means "a short, protective type of shirt, typically worn by manual laborers")

My previous Lhaesine word for "fog" was "hese". I dropped the final e, which changes the vowel from long to short.

pink is beshe (revisited)

beshe = pink (Lhaesine pronunciation = BEESH) (color) (adjective) (some things Google found for "beshe": a common term; Beshe Wigs for ebony hair styles of Moonachie, NJ; user names; an unusual last name; when transliterated a form of the Bulgarian verb to be; Beshe or Beshē is the name of a place in Ethiopia; Beshe or Beshé is the name of a place in New Caledonia)

My previous Lhaesine word for "pink" was "besh". Because I'm no longer using the long e, "ee", sound in my word for yellow, I decided to use it in my word for pink.

yellow is pethas (revisited)

pethas = yellow (Lhaesine pronunciation = PETH-ahce) (color) (adjective) (some things Google found for "pethas": an uncommon term; plural of petha which is a candied ash gourd candy from North India; user names; a rare last name; Pethas Ltd is a company in Belgium that sells fertilizer for agricultural use; can be phrase "pet has" lacking the space between the words)

My previous Lhaesine word for "yellow" was "pethe", which is pronounced PEETH. Although the word sounds somewhat like peach, I didn't like that it also sounds like pee and peed, informal terms for urination, which is not good for a word for yellow. I'll redefine "pethe" as something else later.

green is daela (revisited)

daela = green (Lhaesine pronunciation = DAAW-luh) (color) (adjective) (some things Google found for "daela": an uncommon term; a rare feminine first name, notably Nevada politician Daela Gibson; name of a angular font design; Children of Daela are a race of Elemental beings in the fiction of self-published novelist Betsy McCall; an ensemble of dance performers from NYC; user names; a rare last name; name of a stream in Cote d'Ivoire).

Yes, I'm changing the word for green again. I do change my mind. Somehow the previous Lhaesine word for "green", which was "daeva", was not quite right.

shaye = white (Lhaesine pronunciation = SHAY'y) (some things Google found for "shaye": an uncommon term; Shaye was a Canadian pop group in the 00's; an uncommon last name; a rare first name of Irish origin that can be feminine or masculine which is a variant of Shea; Shaye' or Shayeh is a place in Iran)

My previous Lhaesine word for "white" was "saye". I added the H.

My previous Lhaesine word for "dagger" was "teifa", pronounced "TEE-fuh". I dropped the final a, making this word one syllable, which is a smaller change than it first appears. Note that "daggers", plural, is "teifur".
