ugly is yirase (revisited)

yirase = ugly (Lhaesine pronunciation = YIH-rayce) (noun) (some things Google found for "yirase": a rare term; user names; another name for a city more commonly known as Yirasi in Ghana)

My previous Lhaesine word for "ugly" was "yiihal". That was a weird word. My new word, yirase, is ususual but I don't think it's quite as odd.

In Miresua, my other conlang, the word for ugly is irutsa.

My previous Lhaesine word for "creek" was "gousa", before that it was "guisa". According to my dictionary, a creek is a small stream, somewhat larger than a brook.

My previous Lhaesine word for "gray" was "liica", before that it was "laica". The word "liiga" was previously my word for "star", as in a light in the night sky.

My previous Lhaesine word for "yellow" was "jonde". I made my word for "eleven" to be "jond", which was too similar to that word. Besides I thought "jonde" too closely resembled the French word for "yellow" which is "jaune".

This word has been redone. The Lhaesine word for "yellow" is now "pethas". This posting is no longer current.

This word has been redefined and reused. In Lhaesine "acode" now means "pocket".

nine is goaza (revisited)

My previous Lhaesine word for "nine" was "goza", before that it waz "gaez". I've made several vowel changes to this word. Perhaps this modification will stick.
