wall is morha (revisited)

morha = wall (Lhaesine pronunciation = MOR-uh) (noun) (some things Google found for "morha": an uncommon to rare term; MORHA stands for Michigan Organization of Residence Hall Associations; MoRHA stands for Missouri Ranch Horse Association; user name used by people from Croatia and Russia; Morha is the first part of names of various villages in India; a last name that can be from Romania; female character name in movie America 3000 (1986); part of species name for Atlantic cod fish; a morha (or morah) is a drum-shaped stool from India)

My previous Lhaesine word for "wall" was "morh". Although that word had an interesting look, I've decided to not end words in "rh".

day is uin (revisited)

uin = day (Lhaesine pronunciation = YOON) (noun) (some things Google found for "uin": a very common term; UIN stands for Unique Identification Number; UIN stands for Universal Internet Number; UIN stands for University ID Number; UIN is the airport code for Quincy, Illinois; UIN stands for Union Ideas Network in the UK; UIN stands for Universitas Islam Negeri (State Islamic University) in Indonesia; means "than" in Finnish; means "oven" in Scottish; means "from the" in Sindarin; a place in Ethiopia)

My previous Lhaesine word for "day" was "yune". This is a change in spelling but not in pronunciation. This word could have (and perhaps should have) been spelled "une", but I much prefer "uin". For three-letter words, I'm going to rethink my "silent final e" spelling rule.

This word has been revised. The Lhaesine word for "day" is now "iun". This posting is no longer current.

creek is gousa (revisited)

gousa = creek (Lhaesine pronunciation = GOO-suh) (noun) (some things Google found for "gousa": an uncommon term; Go USA is an overwhelming result (which can be a card for discounts to various attractions, a company offering a variety of consumer products, supporters of USA sports teams, or a patriotic American sentiment); a user name; a last name which can be Spanish; a place in the Central African Republic)

My previous Lhaesine word for "creek" was "guisa". This is another change in spelling but not in pronunciation.

This word has been redone. The Lhaesine word for "creek" is now "saesal". This posting is no longer current.

orange is racoul (revisited)

racoul = orange (Lhaesine pronunciation = RAH-kool) (adjective) (color) (some things Google found for "racoul": a rare term; "raçoul" seems to mean envoy or messenger to Moslems who speak French; likely an Arabic or Berber term that is transliterated into French; a user name; misspelling of the name Raoul)

My previous word for "orange" was "rancul". I've decided to not use the "nc" consonant combination in Lhaesine.  This was the only word that used it.  The second vowel was modified to use my newly defined diphthong "ou".

This word has been revised again. The word for "orange" is now "hoanar". This posting is no longer current.

snake is woura (revisited)

woura = snake (Lhaesine pronunciation = WOO-ruh) (noun) (some things Google found for "woura": an uncommon to rare term; a place in Mali; an African music song title by Baba Salah; there's a Woura Park in Torrens Creek and a Woura county in Queensland, Australia; an uncommon last name; user names)

My previous word for "snake" was "wuira". The pronunciation of this word remains the same, but my spelling of it has changed.

This word has been revised. The Lhaesine word for "snake" is now "vade". This posting is no longer current.

dagger is teifa (revisited)

teifa = dagger (Lhaesine pronunciation = TEE-fuh) (noun) (some things Google found for "teifa": an uncommon to rare term: user name; misspelling of Tiefa which is a place in China north of Beijing where they have coal mines and steam trains; Teifa Net Gate was an Arab web portal site)

My previous word for "dagger" was "teilfa". I've decided not to use the "lf" consonant combination in Lhaesine. This is the only word affected by this change.

This word has been revised. The Lhaesine word for "dagger" is now "tefe". This posting is no longer current.

soft is poum (revisited)

poum = soft (Lhaesine pronunciation = POOM) (adjective) (some things Google found for "poum": an uncommon term: POUM (Partido Obrero de Unificación Marxista) was The Workers' Party of Marxist Unification, a Spanish Trotskyite political party around the time of the Spanish Civil War; user name; Poum Tchack is a gipsy swing band from Marseille; According to the POUM "Prospect Of Upward Mobility" hypothesis individuals who are currently poor may oppose income redistribution because they hope to become rich in the future; Portrait of Mlle. Poum Rachou is an art deco painting by Tamara De Lempicka; places in New Caledonia, Chad, and Macedonia)

This modification is due to my U-related vowel sound change. To retain the same pronunciation, I needed to change the spelling of this Lhaesine word from "pume" to "poum".

This word has been revised. The Lhaesine word for "soft" is now "pon". This posting is no longer current.

rabbit is parowe (revisited)

parowe = rabbit (Lhaesine pronunciation = PAH-rohw) (noun) (some things Google found for "parowe": an uncommon term: means "steam" in Polish which is an overwhelming result)

This is a minor spelling change. My previous word for "rabbit" was "parow". I'm adding a silent, final "e" so that this word follows my spelling conventions.

menhir is becwur (revisited)

becwur = menhir (or standing stone) (Lhaesine pronunciation = BEH-kwuhr) (noun) (some things Google found for "becwur": an unique term; no standard web pages containing "becwur" were found)

My previous word for "menhir" was "beqwur". I think this word is the last revision needed to remove the letter "Q" from Lhaesine.
